I am a Christian and God is the most important thing in my life. In fact that is why I created Anime Angels
was for Christians to be able to interact together and have someone to talk to and to help spread the word of God.
I first accepted God into my life when I was seven years old. I was baptised when I was eight and was very active with the Baptist Student Ministry at my college.
God has done so much in my life. Since I was young, I have been very shy and have struggled with being accepted and having good self-esteem.
I have never drank or smoked, had premarital sex or done anything else that is typically seen as "bad". But God does work in my life everyday
and has turned my life around. You see, God has given me a hope that I would have never had without him. Even with having God in my
life since such an early age, I have still struggled with very tough emotions and mild depression at times. God has been the only way that
I have been able to rise above that.
I have gone on several mission trips to Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas and even twice to Germany. I am very grateful for what God has
done in my life through these events. When I was in Germany I saw God move in ways I never thought possible, there were over
70 people saved inthe short 2 weeks that we were there. God loves his people so much, and it is very wonderful to see him work.
To become a Christian a person must first realize that he or she is "lost" -- totally estranged from God. We are separated from God
by a sinful nature. In the Bible, a chapter about the history of God's relationship with humankind titled Romans tells us this:
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." A person alone cannot reconcile the lost relationship
between himself or herself and God. Because God loves us so much, he sent his only Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life God
demands and to die in order to pay the price for our sins. Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
In order to receive this gift, all that God asks is that a man or woman repent of his or her sins, turn from them and accept the
sacrifice Christ made on the cross for those sins. Romans 10:9 - "That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." God promises in the Bible that anyone
who accepts Christ as Savior shall be saved. Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
God is waiting for you and he promises that when you are ready to open the 'door' of your heart to God, he will be there.
God wants to come and 'eat with you' and be a real part of your life. Revelation 3:20 - "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."
If you would like to become a Christian and feel the peace and joy of knowing God, all you have ot do is pray and let God know that
you beleive in him and the sacrifice that Jesus gave to us in the cross. Ask God to forgive you of your sins and for him to come into
your heart and be your saviour and Lord. I pray that something I have said here will touch your life, and that God will be able to work
through this page.
